Our Story

Emily Whitacre and Missy Blackmer dreamed up a support group called Unboxed Grace for people who needed encouragement in the helping field back in 2020. However, Covid put life on hold and that name sat on ice. Emily began graduate school to become a therapist and the two were working together to build Missy's brand "The Mental Health Chick" starting back in 2021. God called these two to open Unboxed Grace Counseling Company in 2023, before Emily even graduated. Now the two run that company and co-founded Unboxed Grace Coaching Company as a sister company, to serve their community and encourage others. Emily and Missy plan to start a podcast and YouTube channel in the future are excited to see where else God takes them!
